The system of petrol vapor recovery

Carburettor engines

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the hose from the tank and thermal vacuum control valve (TBP) and blow.
2. TBP screwed in the right part of the suction collector. On a cold engine, release the hose from the TBP. Blow TBP by attaching a hose to the auxiliary socket. Air must pass through the TBP only a warm engine.
3. The tank is mounted at the rear left of the engine compartment.
4. Disconnect the hose A from the tee. With the engine running, create a vacuum at the hose - with the engine speed should increase slightly, leaks in the hose should not be. Attach the hose in place.
5. Disconnect the hose from the carburetor and blow the engine running - there should be no leaks. Attach the hose in place.
6. Nozzle air cleaner. Disconnect the hose from the manifold V, purge hose and apply a vacuum hose on the engine off, - there should be no leaks. Attach the hose in place.
7. If the test at there is a negative result, the tank must be replaced.

Injection engine

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect all hoses from the tank and the solenoid valve and blow. The tank is mounted at the rear left of the engine compartment. The valve is screwed into the rear part of the suction collector.
2. To test the tank and disconnect hoses A Blow in the union - should not pass air. After fitting in the air must pass freely. Otherwise, replace the tank.
3. To check, remove the solenoid valve.
4. The air must pass freely through the nozzle only A and C on a disconnected valve. If the valve is energized the air should pass only through the union of A and B.
5. At negative results of check replace the valve.

Tank with sinks

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Designate the route proleganiya each hose and order connecting hoses to tank.
2. Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the hoses.
3. Remove the tank from the bracket.
4. Install the tank in reverse order.

Thermal vacuum control valve (TBP)

Thermal vacuum control valve (carburettor engines)

TBP-valve (arrow) is screwed into the intake manifold.

Replacement

The work is performed on a cold engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Drain the liquid up to the level of the valve, or prepare the plug.
2. Disconnect hoses from TBP.
3. Carefully remove the TBP from the reservoir, remove the gasket.
4. Install the TBP in reverse order. Replace the gasket.

SOLENOID VALVE

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the air duct.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight, disconnect from valve connector.
3. Designate the order of connecting hoses on the valve.
4. Loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the hoses, remove the valve.
5. Install the valve in the reverse order.
