4-speed types F4W71B and C - dismantling
1. The procedure for disassembly and assembly of the 4-speed gearbox is almost the same as for the 5-speed and different performing the following operations. 2. Instead of dismantling operations in points 17-34 (see. Section 4), do the following. 1). Check the condition of gears and shafts transmission, presence on them of cracks and other damages 2). Check socket backlash gears and compare to the standard. 3). If the observed damage and the backlash exceeds norm completely disassemble PPC and replace worn parts 4). Xpress puller front bearing of the intermediate shaft. 5). Remove the retaining ring. B). Carefully remove the intermediate and primary shafts. 7). Remove the input shaft retaining ring and thrust washer. 8). Remove the synchronizer of 3rd and 4th transfers and a gear wheel of 3rd transfer. 9). Release the nut of the output shaft. 10). Remove the retaining ring and reverse gear. eleven). Carefully knock the transition section of the secondary and intermediate shaft. 3. Instead of assembly operations in p. P. 78-91 (see. Section 4), do the following. 1). On the rear of the secondary shaft, set the reverse gear, the washer and tighten the nut by hand. 2). Wear on the intermediate shaft driving gear and the reverse pick rear retaining ring thickness to minimize end play. 3). On the intermediate roller set intermediate reverse gear 4). Tighten the output shaft with the specified torque. 5). Unstake crown nut so that the crown came in the sample output shaft. 6). Recheck backlash gears Allen.
