Check the fuel injection timing of the fuel injection pump Engine AAZ carried out in the following order:

Disconnect the negative battery cable; set the first cylinder at top dead center; Check the installation of a pulley of the fuel pump and camshaft and adjust if necessary;

unscrew the screw plug 4 (see. Fig. 5.81), which is located at the rear of the pump between the high pressure pipe union; into the threaded hole screw adapter dial indicator so that the probe tip adapter is performed at 2.5 mm; Slowly turn the crankshaft in the opposite direction to the worker until the indicator hand will not stop, and set the dial gauge to zero; rotate the crankshaft clockwise and set the piston of the first cylinder in the top dead center. This dial gauge should show the value from 0.83 to 0.97 mm; if the value indicated by the indicator is normal, remove the adapter from the dial gauge to the pump and screw in the screw plug.
Adjusting injection timing of fuel injection pump Engine AAZ In the following order: loosen the bolts of the injection pump to the front and rear arm; Turn the body of the fuel pump as long as the dial gauge does not show the value of 0.92 mm; in this position the pump, tighten the bolts of the fuel pump.
