Check the ignition system Digifant
Ignition coil Check the ignition coil in the following order:
| Fig. 6.17. Check the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil 1 - the ignition coil; 2 - terminal plug 1 (-); 3 - Terminal 4 (HT); 4 - terminal 15 ()
|
- Disconnect the electrical wires and remove the cover from the ignition coil 1 (see. Fig. 6.17); - Connect the tester between the terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) and check the resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil; Connect the tester between the terminals 4 (HT) and 15 (+) and check the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil.
Control block Check the control unit in the following order:
| Fig. 6.18. Check the voltage on the connector (tracks 2 and 4) control unit
|
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the control unit (Fig. 6.18); - Connect the tester to the terminals 2 and 4 on the connector of the control unit and switch on the ignition, and the tester should indicate the battery voltage; - Switch off the ignition and reconnect the electrical connector to the control unit; - Tighten the locking tabs and remove the electrical connector from the distributor; - Connect the tester to the terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) on the ignition coil (see. Fig. 6.17.); - Switch on the ignition, with the first point, the voltage will be 2, and 1-2 to be reduced to zero. Otherwise, replace the control unit; - Disconnect multiterminal electrical connector from the control unit and connect Digifant contact 25 to "weight", and the voltage should be briefly increased to 2; - Switch off the ignition, connect the multiterminal electrical connector to the control unit Digifant.
Hall Sensor A WARNING Verification is necessary only in the absence of sparks. |
Check the Hall sensor in the following order:
| Fig. 6.13. The ignition distributor of Digifant: 1 - high-voltage wires; 2 - tips; 3 - Cover suppressor; 4 - a cover of the distributor; 5 - coal contact; 6 - distributor rotor; 7 - Dust Cap; 8 - an electric socket; 9 - the distributor case; 10 - a bolt; 11 - the holder; 12 - a sealing ring; 13 - Terminal 4; 14 - terminal 15 (); 15 - terminal 1 (-); 16 - the ignition coil; 17 - earthing; 18 - a tip; 19 - a spark plug
|
- Tighten the locking tabs and remove the electrical connector 8 (see. Fig. 6.13) from the distributor;
| Fig. 6.19. Check the voltage on the connector Hall sensor
|
- Connect the tester to the side contacts of an electric socket and switch on the ignition, and the tester should show a voltage of 10 V (Fig. 6.19.); - Switch off the ignition, reconnect the electrical connector to the distributor; - Disconnect the electrical connector from the control unit fuel injection system;
| Fig. 6.20. Check the Hall sensor
|
- Slide the rubber cover from the electrical connector to the distributor and then to connect the LED connector on the sensor probe (Fig. 6.20); - Operate the starter and check that the probe LED flashes. Otherwise, replace the valve.
The control unit Digifant Check Digifant control unit in the following order: - For a complete check unit requires specialized equipment; - Disconnect the electrical connector from the control unit fuel injection system;
| Fig. 6.21. Check control unit Digifant
|
- LED connect the probe to terminals 1 (-) and 15 (+) ignition coil (Fig. 6.21). Connect the dual ignition coil contact so that a braided shield wires were attached only; - Operate the starter and check that the probe LED flashes. Otherwise, replace the control unit.
