When removing the need to drill out the bolts of the steering column (cut bolts) and lower column. Work carefully to avoid damage to numerous recharge with pins and other fasteners. Preparations for removing the instrument panel: - Remove the middle section of the instrument panel; - Remove the nut cover door in the doorway; - Remove the lever of the hood and disconnect the cable of the hood;

- Remove the lower A-pillar trim and the door opening (fig. 16.70) by removing the screws of its fastening and removing the spring clips;

- Remove the trays for storing small things (Fig. 16.71) or patellar partition 6 and 9 (Fig. 16.72). To remove the knee-walls, remove the left cover to release the latch from the end and remove the decorative cap by turning them 90 ?� Then, remove the bottom cover the front wheel well and doors; - Prepare new cut bolts for mounting the steering column housing. Removal in the following order:

- Loosen the screws and push into the panel 3 (Fig. 16.73), control heating and ventilation of the body; - Drill shear bolts securing the steering column and lower column;

- Disconnect the wiring harness and connection with "weight" under the dashboard. Disconnect the harness connectors from the instrument panel mounting unit 3 (Fig. 16.74) relays and fuses;

- Remove the screws on both sides of the instrument panel, previously taking out the plug 3 (Fig. 16.75). Remove the clamps 1 and 2 of the duct wall, which is located behind the instrument panel;

- Disconnect and move aside the mounting brackets 4, connect the instrument panel and the tunnel floor pan and remove the instrument panel (Fig. 16.76). Install in the reverse order. On vehicles equipped with the speedometer cable, insert the cable from the rear of the speedometer. To do this, temporarily disconnect the speedometer cable inside the mixing of the air chamber, which is under the hood. When installing the instrument panel to ensure proper installation of air ducts on the case heater.
