Intake manifold



Removing and installing intake manifold fuel injection system Digifant in the following order:

A WARNING
All work on the removal and installation of an inlet collector should be carried out when removing the wire from the negative battery cable.

- Remove the tube 12 (see. Fig. 5.66) and the air supply body 17 Throttle;
- Disconnect from a collector 25, valve 38 is stabilizing the idle speed with the bracket;
- Disconnect the hose 27 Brake servo on the inlet manifold;
- Disconnect the pipe 31, the measurement of CO on the back of the collector;
- Loosen the connecting plate 29 between the inlet and exhaust manifolds;
- Remove the bolt and ground bus to the intake manifold;
- Remove the bolts and nuts and remove an inlet collector 25 and the gasket 37 to the cylinder head.
Install in reverse order of removal.

- Remove the injector 7 (see. Fig. 5.67) from the intake manifold 8 (Fig. 5.74);
- Disconnect the hose of the vacuum brake booster from the intake manifold
- Disconnect the electric plug from the heater 20, the intake manifold.
- On the reverse side of the collector, unscrew the nozzle 1 and the heated air intake pipe 12 for the measurement of CO;
- Unscrew the nuts and bolts and remove the intake manifold gasket 8 and 10 of the cylinder head;
- Remove the O-ring 9, the coolant channel.
Install the intake manifold made in sequence, return to removal. When installing the collector using new gaskets and O-rings.
Removing and installing intake manifold fuel injection K-Jetronic and KE-Motronic in the following order.
Intake manifold fuel injection systems with K-Jetronic and KE-Motronic consists of upper and lower portions. The upper part can be rented separately or remove the manifold assembly, and then separate the top.

- Remove the air supply pipe and the throttle body 15 (see. Fig. 5.70);
- Mark the position and disconnect the vacuum hose from the manifold;
- Disconnect the electric plug from the valve 18, the stabilization of turns of idling valve 19 and a cold start;
- Bleed the pressure in the fuel system, which loosen the clamp connection inlet hose in the engine compartment;
- Disconnect the hose from the valve of cold start of 19;
- At the rear of the intake manifold, disconnect the hose 22 crankcase ventilation;
- Disconnect the high voltage wires from the spark plugs and the distributor;

- Disconnect the fuel injectors 21 (see. Fig. 5.69);
- Unscrew and remove the inlet manifold and gasket;
- Loosen the nut and disconnect the reservoir in two and remove the spacer 14 (see. Fig. 5.70).
Installation spend to sequences, return to removal.
Removal and installation of an inlet collector of engines PB, PF and 2E in the following order:
- Remove the valve of stabilization of turns of idling with the manifold with the bracket;
- Unscrew and remove the tube CO measuring the back of the collector;
- Remove the bolt and separate the base plate between the inlet and the intake manifold;
- Remove the bolt and the grounding tire collector;
- If necessary, disconnect electrical connections from the switch mode of idling and full throttle potentiometer or throttle position.
General instructions for all types of engines:
- Gradually and consistently unscrew the nuts of the inlet manifold to the cylinder head and remove the manifold with the gasket.
Install in the reverse sequence to removal, taking into account the following points:
- When installing the collector, use a new gasket;
- Tighten bolts to torque the manifold;
- Make sure that all vacuum hoses and electrical connectors are properly connected and secured.
