Loss of air pressure in the tires

NOTE
Repairing radial tires with steel cord having a foreign object damage to the frame, it is not recommended.
Corrosion may occur on the steel wire. This leads to delamination of the rubber from the steel cord.
As a general rule, to find out when he was hit a foreign object, it is impossible. As a result, there may be damage to the tire carcass because of driving with insufficient tire pressure.
Damage to the wire cord sooner or later leads to the detachment of rubber from the steel cord. As a consequence of this some time later, much later than the initial damage occurred, there can be permanently damaging the tire.

The air pressure in the tire
Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. It is recommended to control the pressure in the tire at intervals of 14 days. Particular attention should be paid to this issue when traveling long distances or vehicle load. Sports driving also requires proper tire pressure or even slightly more.

Slow sinking tires
Slow sinking tires - opsnoe this phenomenon, as even experienced drivers often do not notice it.
Due to the lack of air pressure in the tire and the associated greater lateral deformation work (internal friction) tire materials are heated so much that is not excluded peel various elements frame and rubber compounds.
The final stage is most often completely destroyed the bus.
The reason for the slow deflating tire is not always possible to find out, as a result of a tire is severely damaged, and often there are no elements of the frame.

Rising temperatures a low inflation pressure

Change the tire temperature at a speed of 180 km / h
Fig. 4.25. Change the tire temperature at a speed of 180 km / h

The graph shows the change in temperature of the tire at a speed of 180 km / h (Fig. 4.25).
A - The normal range. Bei Einhalten des vorgeschriebenen Luftdrucks bleibt die Temperatur im Gleichgewicht.
B - Danger Zone. In low tire pressure of 0.3 bar the temperature rises above 120 ? C at high speeds.
C - The critical temperature. Starts tire damage.
T - The temperature in ? C.
t - time drive in minutes.
