Removing and installing the support bracket



Withdrawal
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground cable from the battery.
Remove the entire air cleaner housing, if it is within range of the battery.
Remove the battery and its support.

NOTE
When performing the following work, pay attention to the fact that on the spar or gearbox does not leak brake fluid. If this happens, carefully clean the place.
Put under the master cylinder rags, lint on the details.

Remove the hose clamp to the master cylinder.

Release spring clamp 3 using a punch tool, then pull the hose holder on the clutch pedal sensor (Fig. 3.6).
Use a screwdriver to remove the safety bracket 2 and pull it all the way from the main cylinder.
Pull out the tube-hose line 1 of the master cylinder and close.
Disconnect the connector 4 on the clutch pedal position sensor (Fig. 3.6).
Remove the trim footwell of the driver.
Remove the lower steering column trim.

Remove the rack impact protection 1, which, unscrew the bolt 2 (Fig. 3.7).

In the presence of the fastening clip 1 to remove it and take the front parking aid warning buzzer in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 3.8).
Remove the retaining nuts 1 and 2.
The upper fixing nut 1 can be unscrewed through the hole the lower steering column trim.

Pull the support bracket 3 with the spacer bolts on the motor panel (Fig. 3.9).

Setting
Install in the reverse order. It is necessary to consider the following.
Replace self-locking nuts.
Replace lip seals.
Replace hose clamps
If you have a mounting clip for the front parking aid warning buzzer, set the clip.
Install shock rack 1 and tighten the bolt with a torque of 2 (Fig. 3.7).
Install the lower steering column trim.
Refit the footwell of the driver.

Push the tube-hose line 1 with the new lip seal on the nipple 2 of the master cylinder 4, so that it clicks trigger guard 3 (Fig. 3.10).
To check, pull the tube-hose pipe.
Bleed the clutch assembly.
Install the battery casing and the battery bracket.
Install the air filter housing assembly if it was removed.
When reconnecting the battery observe the work required after the connection.

Tightening torques
Support bracket for motor shield (replace self-locking nuts) - 25 Nm.
The front impact protection - 20 Nm.
