Bleeding brake system hydraulic drive
Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system is necessary to remove the air, if in any place there was a depressurization of piping or air got into the system for repair. Venting is carried out in the same way cars with ABS or without. The work is recommended with the assistant. Before removing the air is necessary to remove the dirt from the bleeder plug and filler plug tank. If the work was carried out on only one rear brake cylinder or a caliper, it may be enough just to pump the brake actuator circuit - front left and rear right and front right and rear left. Otherwise, the pumping can begin either at the back or at the front, but we recommend this sequence: right rear, left rear, right front and left front. For pumping the brake hydraulic drive system, perform the following steps: - Put on the appropriate bleeder valve dust cap after removing one end of a transparent plastic hose. The other end of hose lowered into the vessel, partially filled with brake fluid; - To instruct the assistant to press the brake pedal to stop. Unscrew the union half a turn, when the pedal is in its fully forward position. Watch for the release of the fluid hose. Tighten the union; - Repeat the operation several times. Closure of air bubbles means that the air in the hydraulic drive is no more. At that time, as an assistant to hold the pedal is pressed, the last in the extreme forward position should tighten the fitting until it stops. The assistant should slowly release the pedal to return to its original position; - To carry out the same operation in the sequence of the other cylinder. The level of brake fluid must be monitored constantly to avoid air leaks on the hydraulic actuator. Liquid evacuated from the hydraulic circuit, can never again be poured into the tank. Do not use as a liquid stored for a long time in an open vessel.
