Oil filter
According to the requirements of the oil filter should be changed at every oil change. Since the oil filter is located in the main stream flowing oil, i.e. It flows through everything you need for lubricating oil, it can not be blocked by any deposits. If this does happen, then the valve provides a bypass flow of the lubricating oil, in this case, however, the oil arrives in unfiltered form.

If the motor is removed from the filter base, then the assembly should establish a new lining. Tighten the bolt of the filter to 25 N ? m. Do not apply any lubricant to the gasket. A method of mounting the oil filter is shown in Fig. 457. Recommendations for the installation of the filter are written on the label on the filter housing. Replace the filter new sealing ring, which should be easily lubricated perimeter. Screw the new filter by hand, without using any tools for its tightening.
Note If tightening the filter you use a special key, the next oil change can happen that you will be able with great difficulty unscrew the old filter. |
Check the oil level and, if necessary, add oil to the engine. Once the vehicle will travel a few kilometers, make sure to check whether the oil does not flow through the junction of the filter with the filter cap.
