Oil radiator

On vehicles with diesel engine oil cooler is located between the oil filter and its base. The oil is cooled passing through the oil cooler coolant. The advantage of this arrangement, the oil cooler is a rapid heating of cold oil up to operating temperature. The oil cooler can be removed only after the removal of the oil filter and disconnect hoses. To do this, unscrew the nut located on the bottom surface.

Mounting the oil filter
Fig. 457. Fastening of the oil filter: 1 - installation of the filter; 2 - the base of the oil filter; 3 - bolt 25 Nm; 4 - O-ring; 5 - the oil cooler; 6 - nut 25 Nm; 7 - Oil filter

The oil cooler is sealed on the basis of the filter O-ring (see. Fig. 457). Torque nut - 25 Nm.
