Removing and installing clutch slave cylinder



Removing the clutch slave cylinder using the following procedure:
- Remove the gearbox (see. P. 10.1.1);

- Remove the pleated dust cover 25 (see. Fig. 232);
- Remove the bolts 24 and remove the slave cylinder with release bearing;
- Remove an O-ring seal 22 of the working cylinder. The ring is always replaced by the new;

- Replace the O-ring 21 in the event that it has traces of leaking fluid. It is located on the back side of the clutch slave cylinder and remove it using the tool can be 618 (Fig. 233). When you install a new O-ring 21 compress its device 618 as long as it does not go down tightly under the outer casing of the clutch slave cylinder.
Fitting the clutch cylinder is carried out in reverse order with the following:
- Before installing the release bearing, wipe with a cloth, but do not wash it in petrol;
- Tighten the three screws on the clutch slave cylinder and tighten to 11 N ?� m;
- After installation, check the gearbox clutch operation. At the same time pay attention primarily on the appearance of scratching sound when the transmission. The best thing he heard when reverse gear is engaged. Its cause may be unregulated drive clutch;
- If necessary, adjust the drive clutch and take a test drive on the car with all the options of switching transmission.
