The accelerator cable

The throttle cable is very sensitive to damage. When working in the engine compartment of the car, make sure that it is not to go too.

Maybe you will not have to ever replace the accelerator cable to the new, but it has to be removed during certain operations. To do this, unscrew the support and unhook the cable end of the sector in the throttle body, which is fixed by means of brackets. The tension of the cable is provided with clips on the bracket, which in this case do not have to shoot.

After installation, support and fix the end of the rope ask the assistant to press a pedal of "gas" and make sure that the sector throttle does not move more than 1.0 mm.
