Removing and installing seal
Withdrawal Hold the steering column in a vice as shown. Mark the position of the upper part relative to the bottom.

Pull the lower part of the upper strong sharp movement in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 5.8). Remove the sealing sleeve with the bottom.
Setting
Before installation, check the working surface of the guide at the bottom of the presence of dirt and scratches (Fig. 5.10). When the working surface is scratched, it is necessary to replace the steering column, as otherwise there will be ensured a sufficient seal between the steering column and the sealing cuff. Slightly rotating cuff, install it on the lower part, as shown in Figure 5.10. Collect the steering column so that the labels match, the steering column and connected with a single sharp motion. If the steering wheel is assembled properly, the bottom part can not be contracted from the top, putting ordinary effort. Install the steering column.
