Camshafts and the water pump are driven by a toothed belt (Fig. 3.5). Toothed pulleys mounted on each of the camshafts by means of three bolts. Bolt holes have an oval shape to ensure proper orientation of the camshaft. Two toothed pulley mounted on the crankshaft (drive pulley) and the water pump.
Belt tension the timing belt tensioner is carried out automatically. Tensioner acts on the belt through the roller mounted on the arm. Idler roller disposed on the other side of the belt and prevents its vibration.
