Removing and installing brake drum

Brake drum removed to replace it if damaged or worn working surface (the maximum reel diameter 201.0 mm), as well as for the control of brakes, replace the brake pads and working cylinders.
NOTE
A brake drum formed integrally with the rear wheel hub.
HELPFUL ADVICE
Work is done on the vehicle with the rear wheels hung (on a lift or car, set with a jack on the support). The parking brake lever must be lowered all the way down (the car disinhibited).

You will need: a key for wheel bolts, face head, "24", thin chisel, hammer, caliper, two mounting blades.
1. Turn on the set and I transmission bearings bars under the front wheels.
2. Remove the wheel trim of the rear wheel (see. "Changing a wheel").
3. hang out the back wheel and set to support the rear of the car rented by the drum. Remove the rear wheel (see. "Changing a wheel").
4. Using a thin chisel and a hammer, gently press out the cap from the hub ...
5. ... and remove it.
6. Use a screwdriver to straighten a bent foot pin, straighten it ...
7. ... and pull the pin out of the hole pins.
8. Loosen the nut rear hub ...
9. ... and unscrew the nut.
10. Remove the thrust washer from the stud ...
11. ... the inner ring of the bearing outer ...
12. ... and remove the brake drum with inner hub bearing and shaft seal.
13. Measure the diameter of the working surface of the caliper. If it exceeds the maximum, the drum must be replaced.
14. Inspect the working surface of the drum. It should be flat and smooth, without any scratches and the ring is clearly visible roundness (ovality should not exceed 0.5 mm, it can be determined by unevenly worn working surface of the drum). If the circle of the very deep and clearly visible uneven wear of the working surface, the drum will have to be replaced.

A WARNING
Brake drums replace pairs (left and right simultaneously).
HELPFUL ADVICE
Inspect the surface of the brake linings.
If they found traces of lubricant, then the hub gland is damaged and must be replaced (see. "Replacing the rear hub bearing").
If the pads are wetted with brake fluid, then the working cylinder leaking seals, replace it (see. "Replacement of the working cylinder of the rear wheel brake").

15. Check ease and quiet rotation of the bearing hub. If necessary, replace the bearings (see. "Replacing the rear hub bearings").
16. Similarly remove and check the right brake drum.
17. When installing the former shoulder drum remove a file on the working surface of the drum formed as a result of wear.
18. Give the initial state control gaps (see. P. 20, "Replacing the brake pads brake the rear wheel").
19. Keep the brake pads two mounting blades.
20. Install the drum in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the rear hub bearings (see. "Adjusting the rear hub bearings").
21. Adjust the clearance between the brake pads and the drum by pressing 10-15 times on the brake pedal. Each time you will hear the regulator. As soon as the clicks stop, set the gap.
22. Press in the hub cap.
23. Establish a wheel and the wheel trim (see. "Changing a wheel").
24. Check ease of rotation. Slight grazing on the drum pads.
