Replacing shock absorber rear suspension



You will need: the key "6" spanner "17" caliper or ruler.

WARNINGS
Before you lift the rear of the vehicle, including the I Beam and make stops at the front wheels. Lift the rear, install reliable support near the jack. Under the rear axle support can not be installed because the suspension must be unloaded.
Shock absorbers (left and right) are replaced in pairs.
Do not remove the two shock absorber simultaneously hung out the back of the machine, since lowering the rear axle below the limit can cause damage to pipes and hoses of brake system.

1. Open the trunk.
2. Squeeze the latch and open the cover to access the upper strut.
3. Remove the shock absorber rod nut, hold the stem from turning the second key.
4. Remove the washer ...
5. ... and the top rubber pad.
6. Remove the shock absorber lower mounting ...
7. ... and out of the lugs and the shock absorber bracket.
8. Use a screwdriver to remove the eye of the shock absorber bracket ...
9. ... and remove the shock absorber from the car.
10. Remove the stem from the bottom of the shock absorber rubber pad assembly with the spacer and the washer.
11. Remove the spacer from the pillows.
12. Install the shock absorber vertically several times until it stops and lift the lower shock-absorber rod. Make sure that the rod is moved without failure, jamming and knocks. Otherwise, replace the shock absorber. Furthermore, when detecting shock replace liquid drips (permitted slight fogging in the housing upper part) and damage the threads in the upper part of the stem.
13. Install the shock absorber in the reverse order of removal. The nut of the upper and lower mounting damper finally tighten the car standing on the earth. Lower the car to the ground several times strongly Push it. Tighten the shock absorber lower mounting point to the beam 70 Nm shock absorber upper nut to tighten the rod protruding shank 9 mm, the protrusion measuring caliper or ruler.
A WARNING
When tightening the nuts of the top fastening of the shock absorber not use excessive force, otherwise it may collapse spacer.

14. Similarly replace the second shock.
