Replacing the rear axle



Rear axle easier to remove the lift. If you can not set the vehicle on a lift, raise the rear of the car, setting the jack under the beam. Then install the support under the jack socket for installation on the car body.

HELPFUL ADVICE
To remove the rear axle must be with the assistants, who will hold and lower the rear axle.
A WARNING
Loosen or tighten the wheel bolts only on the car standing on the earth. Tightening torque 90 Nm.

You will need: the keys "10", "15", "17", "19" (two), a special key "10" to loosen the brake pipe nuts, pliers.
1. Remove the rear wheels.
2. Remove one brake hose on both sides of the pipelines on the rear axle (see. "Replacing the brake hose") and plug the hole hoses.
3. Remove both sides of four nuts pins ...
4. ... and remove the trunnion assembly with brake drums.
5. Remove the nut of the pipeline to the wheel cylinders (see. "Replacement of the working brake cylinder rear wheel brake") ...
6. Remove the bracket ... the parking brake cable to the brake shield ...
7. ... disconnect the cable end of the expander arm ...
8. ... and remove the shield of the rear brake assembly.
9. Similarly, remove the rear brake shield on the opposite side of the car.
10. Remove the nut ...
11. ... and remove the holder of the parking brake cable from the lever of the rear suspension.
12. Similarly, the second branch of the cable disconnect from the opposite side of the car.
13. Loosen and remove the shock absorber lower mounting.
14. Gently lower the beam and remove the spring rear suspension and the upper and lower pads (see. "Replacement of the spring rear suspension").
15. release the lock, remove the brake pipes from the beam (see. "Replacing the brake pipe").
16. Print the brake hoses from the brackets beams by first removing the bracket (see. "Replacing the brake hose").
17. Remove the nuts of bolts of fastening of the beam to the body, holding the bolts from turning the second key; Remove the bolts ...
18. ... and remove the beam assembly with a stabilizer bar.
19. If necessary, remove the stabilizer similar to its withdrawal on the car (see. "Replacing stabilizer bar rear suspension") and press out the silent blocks (see. "Replacing the silent blocks the rear suspension arms").
20. Install the rear axle in the reverse order of removal. Finally, tighten the nuts of bolts of fastening of the beam on the car standing on the earth.
21. After installing the beams bleed the brake system (see. "Bleeding brake system hydraulic drive") and, if necessary, adjust parking brake (see. "Adjusting parking brake").
