Replacing the silent blocks the rear suspension arm
At a certain skill silent blocks can be replaced directly on the car by removing the bolts of the beam to the bracket body, and bring eye beams brackets, but it is more convenient to carry out this work on the removed rear axle (see. "Replacing the rear axle"). It is very convenient to replace the silent blocks a special device (stripper), but you can do the work and materials at hand. You will need: a stripper silent blocks or mandrel. When using stripper, do the following. 1. Before pulling out the lever eyelet heat with hot air to a temperature of 50-75 ?� C, pre-drank two hacksaw cut-B (Fig. 7.6) on the outer sleeve Hob for the projections 15. Pulling out mounting bush spend in the following order: replace the lever with a lug the outside of the device body 4, put on a bolt mounting sleeve 6 with the projections 5, insert the bolt into the hole Hob, put it to the back of the eye of the lever washer 3, Abut the housing device 4 and tighten the nut 2 to vypressovki Hob.

2. Press in both arm rear suspension silent blocks with pre-sawn cut-outs in the mounting device in this order: Refit the tool 11 in the eye of the lever on the outside, by aligning the mark A on the body fit and the eye of the lever, as shown by the arrow; Replace the bolt 13 thrust washer 12, insert it into the eye of the lever, put on a new bolt silentblock 10, mounting sleeve 9 with projections and screw nut 8. Orient Hob with respect to the lever, as shown in Fig. 7.7, and press-fit it flush with the end of the lever eye.

When using improvised means, do the following. 1. Set the beam in the vice and press out the Hob mandrel of suitable diameter or a stripper.
HELPFUL ADVICE If you can not drive out Hob, Saw his hacksaw. Planting sawn Hob in the eye of the lever substantially weakened. |
2. Remove the Hob beam of the eye. 3. Clean the eye of rust and scale and the press in the new Hob, orient it as shown in Fig. 7.7. 4. Similarly, replace the second Hob. 5. Install the rear axle on the car. Bolts beam to a body completely tighten the car standing on the earth, the values given in Appendix 1.
