Adjust the clutch pedal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the distance from the front surface of the pedal to the carpet. Hand press the clutch pedal before occurrence of notable resistance and measure free wheeling size.

Free travel: 1-3 mm
2. If the clutch pedal free play does not match the desired value, adjust it as follows:

- Loosen the locknut and turn the screw to adjust the clutch pedal free play, and then tighten the lock nut;

A warning

After adjustment tighten the screw until it reaches the stop pedal, then tighten the locknut.

- Rotate the plunger until the desired freewheel, then tighten the locknut.

A warning

When adjusting the height of the plant or freewheel clutch pedal, be careful not to move the plunger to the clutch master cylinder.

3. After adjustment, check that the distance from the clutch pedal to the floor while holding the pedal corresponds to the desired value.

Free travel (A): 1-3 mm
Distance from the clutch pedal to the floor while pressing the pedal (B): 90 mm

4. If you can not adjust the height of the installation and a free wheeling clutch pedal, possibly hydraulic clutch has air or faulty clutch master cylinder. In this case, remove the air or disassemble and check the clutch master cylinder.

BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH DRIVE

Any hydraulic system works normally if air is removed from it.
A warning

During air removal add only the pure liquid recommended by the manufacturer.
The fluid used in a hydraulic drive, dissolves a paint and plastic, therefore at liquid hit on a paint and varnish covering of the car wash it with plenty of water.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Loosen the bleeder valve and connect a hose to it. Place the other end of the hose in a glass container of sufficient volume.
2. Slowly press the clutch pedal.
3. While pressing the clutch pedal, loosen the bleeder valve and release the air from the hydraulic system. Tighten the bleeder valve and release the clutch pedal.
4. Repeat steps until until brake liquid without air bubbles.

A warning

Rapid re-press the clutch pedal in the B-C can lead to the pusher from the cylinder while pumping the clutch. Pushing the clutch pedal is necessary only after its return to the upper position (A).

Knowledge and clutch pressure plate

Clutch

1 - clutch fork;
2 - clutch;
3 - a bolt, 15-22 N ??? m;
4 - clutch pressure plate;
5 - clutch plate.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Drain the oil from the transmission and the brake fluid from the hydraulic clutch.
2. Remove the gearbox.
3. Install the mandrel 09411-11000dlya centering clutch disc, which in this case excludes drop the clutch disc.
4. Gradually loosen the bolts diagonally clutch assembly, turning each bolt on? turnover until until no further action of the diaphragm spring and the bolts can be loosened manually. Remove the clutch cover with the pressure plate and clutch disc.

A warning

Do not clean solvent clutch disc or clutch.
It is desirable to remove the flywheel and check the back sealing ring of the crankshaft for leaks. If necessary, replace the O-ring.

Check of a casing of coupling with a press disk

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the diaphragm spring in contact with the release bearing for wear, cracks and determine the height difference between the ends of the diaphragm spring. In the presence of defects, replace the clutch cover with the pressure plate.

The difference between the height of the ends of the diaphragm spring: 0.5 mm
2. Check the pressure plate for cracks, metal penetration and wear surfaces.
3. Check the riveted joints.

Check clutch

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the riveted joints friction linings to the disc clutch. In the presence of defects, replace the clutch disc.
2. Check the protrusion of the friction linings over heads of rivets. If the protrusion is less than acceptable, replace the clutch disc.

The protrusion: 1.1 mm

3. Check the condition of the friction linings and the clutch plate in the presence with them of traces of oil or mechanical damages replace a coupling disk.
4. Clean the splines on the input shaft of the gearbox to the shaft and install the clutch disc. If the clutch disc is moved along the shaft difficult or too large a gap in the splined connection, replace the clutch disc and / or input shaft.

Checking release bearing
A warning

Clutch is sealed and can not be cleaned.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the release bearing which should rotate easily, smoothly and quietly and it should no longer play. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring should be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development.
2. Defective clutch can be determined without removing it from the car, which is necessary when the engine is running, press the clutch pedal. If the clutch pedal is pressed, an additional noise, means clutch is faulty and must be replaced.

Check the clutch fork

PERFORMANCE ORDER
If there is uneven wear at the points of contact with the clutch release bearing, replace the release fork.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease the contact surface of the bearing cylinder and clutch fork.

A warning

When installing the clutch lubricate all moving parts connection, but do not use an excessive amount of grease, as this may lead to a slipping clutch.

2. Lubricate the recess release bearing.

Grease: CASMOLY L9508

3. Grease the contact surface of clutch release bearings.

Grease: CASMOLY L9508
4. fine sandpaper, clean the surface of the flywheel and pressure plate and make sure that all the abrasive material and the grease removed from cleaned surfaces.
5. Lubricate splines clutch and the gearbox output shaft.

Grease: CASMOLY L9508
6. Install the drive coupling and center its special holder 09411-11000. When installing the clutch disc surface having markings must be located on the part of the pressure plate.
7. Install the clutch cover with a press disk on directing pins of a flywheel.
8. Gradually, in diagonal sequence and in a certain order, tighten the flywheel bolts.

Torque: 15-22Nm

9. Remove the mandrel, centering clutch disc.
10. Install the transmission.
11. Adjust the clutch clearance.
