Tie Rod



1 - Tie Rod;
2 - steel clamp;
3 - a protective cover;
4 - nut 16-34 N ??? m;
5 - tie rod end;
6 - a collar.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the steering gear pinion steering and traction from the vehicle as an assembly.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Secure the steering gear in a vise jaws shut with a soft material.

A warning

When attaching the steering gear in a vice wrap steering transfer cloth and take care not to damage it during compression vise.


2. Loosen the clamp and remove the protective cover from the steering gear.
3. Using a chisel, remove the nut on the left steering draft.

A warning

If rack must be removed, remove the left steering draft.


4. Move the rack is completely right and secure in the grip jaws shut with a soft material. Loosen and remove the left tie rod from the steering gear.
5. Remove the right tie rod, repeat steps 3 and 4.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the tie rods and tie-rods for damage or deformation.
2. Check the protective covers for damage or distortion of shape.
3. Check the torque that must be applied to crank pin of the spherical hinge.

The torque, which should be attached to crank pin of the spherical hinge: 2-5 N ??? m

4. Check the operation of the ball joint and tie rod end play.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After installing the steering rod tighten the nuts of their fastening torque and bend the collar nut into the keyway.

Torque: 80-100 N ??? m

2. Attach a protective cover of steering draft a metal collar.


A warning

Clamp fastening of a protective cover should be installed after adjusting the front toe.


3. Measure the progress of the transfer.

Full speed transmission: 134 mm

A warning

Full speed transmission determines the maximum angle of the front wheels.


4. Adjust the length of the tie rod and tighten the lock nut.

Tie Rod Length: 185.2 mm
Torque: 50-55 N ??? m


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Install the steering gear and the tie rod as an assembly.
