Checking the oil level in the gearbox Check gearbox oil leak. Check the oil level in the gearbox by removing the speedometer driven gear. If the oil is contaminated, it is necessary to drain the oil and refill with new oil. Remove the speedometer driven gear and check the oil level with a finger. Make sure the oil level is between the marks ?F? and ?L? the speedometer driven gear. If the oil level ?L? or less, then add the recommended transmission oil in the gearbox to the mark ?F?.
Changing the oil in the gearbox By car, mounted on a level surface, remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the gearbox.
NOTE Recommended transmission oil: oil for hypoid gears (HP Gear Oil), GL-4 classification API, viscosity SAE75W-90. |
Replace the new gasket and install the drain plug. Remove the speedometer driven gear. Fill with new oil up to the mark ?F? the speedometer driven gear. Fuel capacity transmission: 2.43 l Make sure that the oil level in the gearbox is located between marks ?F? and ?L? the speedometer driven gear. Install the speedometer driven gear on the clutch transmission. It is necessary to drive the vehicle, the temperature of the gearbox oil has reached operating temperature, then check for leaks of oil from the gearbox.
