Removal, check and assemblage of the mechanism gear manual transmission

Withdrawal

Remove the floor console assembly (see. The relevant section in Chapter BD - ?�Body").

Remove the pins and clips gearbox control cables from the gear lever.

Remove the shift lever assembly.

Remove the bolt and the intermediate gearbox control cable bracket on bulkhead.

Remove the pins and cable lock gearbox control (Transmission).

Remove the cables gear selection (Fig. 3.44).

Check

Check the cable of a choice of transfers and the absence of damage.

Check the cable of a gear change and the absence of his injuries.

Check anthers gearbox control cables for damage.

Check each sleeve for wear, abrasion, seizure, difficulty moving or damage.

Check the spring for wear or damage.

Assembly

Install the shift lever assembly.

Install selector cable and shift cable.
