PERFORMANCE ORDER

Give bolts and remove the lock assembly, then use a screwdriver to disconnect the cable end.

Disconnect the drive cable from the bonnet.

Install in reverse order.

Disconnect the cable from the lock (see. Illustration above).
In the car, remove the access panel. Take the screws and detach the drive cable lock and handle to open the hood.

Tie up to being in the engine compartment cable end piece of string or wire, then release the cable, and retract it through the bulkhead into the interior of the vehicle.
Tie a string or wire to the new wire rope and retract it through the bulkhead in the engine compartment.
Further installation is made in the reverse order of removal.
