Oil pump

Oil pump engine FE DOHC

1 - a cover of the oil pump;
2 - the outer rotor;
3 - the inner rotor;
4 - safety valve;
5 - gland;
6 - the oil pump housing.

Oil pump engine T8 DOHC

1 - a cover of the oil pump;
2 - the outer rotor;
3 - the inner rotor;
4 - safety valve;
5 - gland;
6 - the oil pump housing.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil from the engine.
3. Remove the toothed timing belt.
4. Remove the oil pan and maslozabornuyu tube with a strainer.
5. Remove the bolt of a pulley of a gear belt of a cranked shaft.
6. Remove the toothed belt pulley with the crankshaft.
7. Remove the oil pump bolts and remove the oil pump to the engine block.

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the seven screws and remove the oil pump cover.
2. Remove the outer and inner rotors of the oil pump housing.
3. Remove.
4. Remove the oil pump oil seal.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check and, if necessary, replace the following parts:

- Deformed or damaged housing and / or the oil pump;
- Worn or damaged piston;
- Loose or broken spring.
2. The metal ruler and a feeler gauge, measure the side clearance of the rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible lateral clearance of the oil pump rotors: 0.10 mm

3. The probe measure the gap between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible backlash between the teeth of the rotors of the oil pump: 0.18 mm

4. The probe measure the gap between the outer rotor and the body of the oil pump.

Maximum permissible backlash between an external rotor and the housing of the oil pump: 0.20 mm


Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply engine oil to the new oil seal lip and socket gland.
2. Press-fit the oil seal into the socket of the pump housing.
3. Set the pump housing and the plunger spring.
4. Install the thrust ring.
5. Install the inner and outer rotors in the case of the oil pump.
6. Apply a thin coat of sealant to the threads of cap screws.
7. Install the oil pump cover and screw.

Tightening torques: 6-9N ??? m

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply grease to the new O-ring and insert it into the body of the oil pump.
2. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the mating surface of the oil pump. After applying the sealant must install the oil pump no more than 5 minutes.
3. Install the oil pump and fix bolts.
4. The further installation is carried out in reverse order of removal.
5. Fill the engine with the required amount of engine oil required.
6. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
7. Start up the engine and check for oil leaks.
8. Check the engine oil level and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
