Types and causes of wear of the tire tread

After the operation of the tire can change the original tread pattern as shown in the figure. The following table shows the possible causes and remedies.

The typical form	Probable Cause	Remedy
Side tread wear	Insufficient tire pressure (two-sided tread wear) Wrong disorder of forward wheels (one-sided tread wear) Cornering at high speed	Check the tire pressure and restore to normal Repair or replace suspension parts Drive at a moderate speed
Wear the central part of the tire	Increased pressure in the tire	Check the tire pressure and restore to normal
Cross-corner wear	Improper wheel alignment	Adjust toe
