Check the radiator cap pressure

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. A coupler secure the radiator cap on the test instrument to test the radiator cap.

2. Increase the pressure to move the valve cover.

  • The opening pressure of the main valve: 96,1-124,5 kPa
  • Closing the main valve pressure: 83.4 kPa

3. Make sure that the valve is opened and closed within the specified limits.
4. Replace the radiator cap if the valve opens and closes the specified limits.

Before testing, make sure that the cover is clean and free of rust and impurities that violate its work.
