Check the operation of the brake servo



Failure of the vacuum amplifier significantly increases the force on the brake pedal, which adversely affects driving.

6. Check the operation of the check valve of the vacuum brake booster, which create a negative pressure (for example, a rubber bulb) in the hose from its connection to the nozzle of the vacuum brake booster. Insert the bulb in the hole and tighten. Air from the pear to be released through the valve opening in the opposite hose. Release the bulb. If she stayed in a compressed state, it means that the valve is undamaged. In the absence of a pear, you can purge the valve mouth.

NOTES
In case of failure of the check valve replace the hose assembly with the valve.
Do not bend, twist, and of leakage of the vacuum hose.

7. Install the parts in reverse order of removal.
