Adjusting the thermal gaps in the mechanism of the valve

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the right wheel.
Remove the right mudguard.
Remove the spark plugs.
Disconnect the high-voltage wire.
Disconnect the connector of the oil control valve (OCV).
Remove the ventilation hose.
Remove the cylinder head cover. Make sure the engine is cold.
Remove the drive belt.
Remove the right combined with an intermediate shaft propeller shaft.

Lower plug Engine Front Cover
Fig. 2.78. Lower plug engine front cover: 1 - plug

Remove the lower cap the engine front cover (Fig. 2.78).
Remove the top cap of the front cover of the engine.

Lower plug cylinder
Fig. 2.79. Lower plug cylinder 1 - plug

Remove the bottom cap of the cylinder (Fig. 2.79).

Attaching a special device
Fig. 2.80. Attaching a special device

Install special tool (Fig. 2.80).
Turn the crankshaft clockwise to the TDC Piston ?1.
Loosen the drive chain timing.
a) Using a suitable screwdriver or similar tool, unlock the chain tensioner ratchet.
b) Turn the camshaft drive the exhaust valves in a clockwise direction, using a suitable spanner (hexagon) and loosen the drive chain timing.

Fixing the chain guide at the position attenuation
Fig. 2.81. Fixing the chain guide at the position attenuation

c) placing the appropriate bolt (M6 1,0 length of 25-35 mm) hole in the top cap of the front cover of the engine, lock the chain guide at the position attenuation (Fig. 2.81).

Fixation camshafts drive the exhaust valves
Fig. 2.82. Fixation camshafts drive the exhaust valves

Secure camshaft drive the exhaust valves, using the appropriate key (hex) (Fig. 2.82).

Lower plug cylinder
Fig. 2.83. Lower plug cylinder 1 - inlet camshaft sprocket

Remove the camshaft drive the exhaust valves (Fig. 2.83).

Order of easing of bolts of camshaft
Fig. 2.84. Order of easing of bolts of camshaft

Loosen the bolts of the camshaft in several stages in this order (Fig. 2.84).

NOTE
The cylinder head and camshaft bearing caps are numbered to facilitate their re-install the original position during assembly. After removing the cover keep with the cylinder head, from which they were taken. Do not mix the caps.

Remove the camshaft.
Remove the valve tappet.
Vybrerite proper shim, guided by the following scheme and recordings made during the initial inspection
new shim = remove a lining measurement + valve clearance - standard valve clearance.
inlet - 0.25 mm;
release - 0.30 mm.
Standard (the engine is cold):
inlet - 0,22-0,28 mm (0.25 ? 0.03 mm);
Issue - 0,27-0,33 mm (0.30 ? 0.03 mm).
Install the camshaft, piston cylinder ?1 should be in TDC position.

Order of a tightening of bolts of a cam
Fig. 2.85. Order of a tightening of bolts of a cam

Tighten the camshaft in two steps (Fig. 2.85):
torque 5.0-9.0 Nm;
14,0-17,0 torque Nm.
Install the camshaft sprocket drive the exhaust valves (see. Fig. 2.83).

NOTE
Bolt camshaft sprocket do not tighten. First, check the time of opening or closing the valve, then tighten the bolt.

Installation of a special device on the camshaft
Fig. 2.86. Installation of a special device on the camshaft

Replace camshaft special tool (Fig. 2.86).
Remove the bolt (M6h1,0, length of 25-35 mm) from the engine front cover to pull the chain valve timing.
Turn the crankshaft clockwise to the TDC Piston ?1.
Hold camshaft drive the exhaust valves, using a suitable spanner (hex) (see. Fig. 2.82).
Tighten the camshaft sprocket drive exhaust valves torque 69-75 Nm.
Remove special tool with camshaft.
Remove the special tool from the hole bottom stub block.
Rotate the crankshaft clockwise two turns until the TDC position. If TDC is not achieved, loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt and perform all the operations, starting with the installation of special devices (see. Fig. 2.80).
Apply silicon-organic sealant to plug the top of the front cover of the engine.
Replace the top cap of the engine front cover by tightening its torque of 10 Nm.
Replace the bottom of the cylinder cap, tightening it tightening torque 18-22 Nm.
Install the new lower cap the engine front cover by tightening its torque of 12 Nm.
Set right in between the drive shaft and the combined shaft.
Install the drive belt.
Install the cylinder head cover.
Attach the ventilation hose.
Connect the oil control valve (OCV).
Connect the high-voltage wire.
Replace the spark plug.
Install the right mudguard.
Install the right wheel.
