Cooling Fans
Location of the fan motor relay
| The models 1993 Probe fan relay (arrow) is located in front of the radiator. The models 1994 and later Probe low speed relay located before the radiator, and the high speed switch in the left rear corner of the engine compartment. |
Location fan relay air conditioning
| In models Probe fan relay conditioning system are located directly behind the fuse. |
If the cooling fan does not turn on when the engine is warmed up to operating temperature, or when you turn on the air conditioner, check the fuse of the fan (40 A) located under the hood in the relay and fuse and fuse motor (15 A), located on the outside of the fuse panel .

PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Disconnect the fan motor and connect the contacts of the fan using the adapter to the battery terminals. Single speed fans have two pins, two-speed three pins. The two-speed fan, connect the black wire contact to the ground, and one of the two other contacts to the battery terminal. The fan must earn at low or high speed, if the fan does not work or only works at one speed, replace the motor. | 2. If you are connecting directly to the fan is working properly, then the reason could be a faulty fuse, relay, temperature sensor or the broken wiring. |

Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. | 2. Remove the air intake pipe. | | 3. Disconnect the cooling fan (A) and remove the upper left fan cowl bolt (B). Disconnect the wires attached to the fan cover. | | 4. Disconnect the fan air conditioning system (A) and remove the upper right bolt fan shroud (B). Disconnect the wires attached to the fan cover. | 5. Remove the casing bolts (both fans are installed in a single housing) and remove it from the engine compartment. | | 6. Unscrew the nut and remove the fan blade from the motor. | 7. Remove the three screws and remove the motor. | 8. Installation is spent upside-down removals. |
