Checking the coolant
| To check the coolant you can use an inexpensive hygrometer. |
Engine cooling system The engine cooling system is under pressure, the circulation of the coolant is controlled by a thermostat. The circulation of the coolant is provided by a water pump located at the front of the cylinder. The housing of the thermostat is located near the radiator and four-cylinder engines in the top rear of the engine in the six-cylinder models. While the engine is warmed up, the thermostat is closed and the cooling liquid enters the radiator. When the engine warms up to its normal operating temperature, the thermostat opens and the coolant to circulate through the radiator. Heating System The heating system consists of a blower and a radiator heater, which is connected with the motor and through which circulates the hot engine coolant. The air conditioning system The air conditioning system consists of a refrigerator, fixed to the engine radiator, evaporator, located near a radiator heater, compressor, mounted on the engine, moisture separator, which incorporates a pressure reducing valve high pressure pipe connecting the above components.
