Expansion tank |
1. Disconnect the radiator overflow hose from the surge tank. |
| 2. Remove the expansion tank mounting bolt (arrow). |
| 3. Remove the two screws at the bottom of the engine compartment (indicated by arrows). Remove the tank. Drain the coolant into a suitable container and inspect the tank for cracks. |

4. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. |
5. Drain the coolant. |
6. Remove the cooling fans. |
| 7. Remove the overflow tube surge tank, loosen the radiator hose clamps, remove blots (B) and remove the upper (C) and the lower radiator hose. |
| 8. Disconnect hoses (indicated by arrows) on the oil cooler hoses and close the lid. |
| 9. Remove the heat sink screws (indicated by arrows) and remove it. |
10. Inspect the radiator for signs of leakage or damage. Make sure nothing is blocking the internal channels of a radiator. If necessary, the heat sink must be repaired by a specialist workshop. |
11. Compressed air clean out dirt and insects, trapped between the fins of the radiator. |
12. Installation is spent upside-down removals. |
