Removing the windshield wiper arm

1. Lift the plastic cover 2 (Fig. 3.15) at the bottom of the lever 3 wiper and turn Allen.
PRACTICAL ADVICE Ensuring a good view We recommend storing pin (needle) stuck in the sun visor on the driver, in case you will need to adjust or clean the nozzles. In winter, they can freeze. Drip a few drops of defrosting locks or alcohol on the tip of the pin, and from it - in the nozzle, as if you want to put it. After a while the nozzle is free of ice. |
2. Remove the wiper arm to the wiper mechanism. At the same time, hold the lever so it does not hit the glass.
PRACTICAL ADVICE Locked wiper arm If the wiper arm in heavy snowfall reaches its end position, the wiper gear motor still running and is energized. In this mode, winding gear motor wiper can burn. Therefore, stop, turn off the ignition and clean the glass. |
