Removal and installation of a windshield wiper motor-reducer



SEQUENCE OF WORK
Withdrawal
1. Remove the wiper arm.

2. Remove the left and right guard grille air intake, which first remove the trim 1 (Fig. 3.16) by unscrewing the screw 2 and lifting clamps (thick arrow). Remove the trim left and right (thick arrow to the right and to the left). Remove the three screws. After the release clips (thin arrow on the left - the three on the right - four), remove the grid.
3. Remove the lever mechanism.

Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor-reducer

4. Remove the plug (arrow, Fig. 3.17) on the wiper motor-reducer.
5. Remove the left and right of the drive nut on the flange and screw on the geared motors.
6. Use a screwdriver to lift the clamps rubber rings linkage.
7. Remove the wiper gear motor with a lever mechanism.
8. Before removing the gearmotor clearly remember or Draw the position of the lever and the wiper linkage.

9. To remove the wiper motor-reducer 2 (Fig. 3.18) from the lever 3 1 Remove the nut the crank drive and the three screws (arrows). Crank gear motor and retractable rod practically form the middle position line. When removing the lever mechanism is important to maintain the average position of the brush cleaner and a lever mechanism that is fixed with 4 axle nut drive head.
10. Remove the wiper gear motor with a lever mechanism.
Setting
1. Make sure that the gearmotor is in the middle position. Otherwise, plug in, turn the ignition switch for a short time and turn off the gearmotor it with the wiper switch. Then turn off the ignition.
2. Screw mount the gearmotor with a torque of 5 Nm.
3. Push the lever mechanism in the crank gear motor.
4. Wiper Arm Lever connect according to your drawings made during removal, and screw the nut on the axis of the gearmotor.
5. Push the lever crank axle gear motor so that the crank arm and the wiper arm to form a single line. Tighten the retaining nut with a torque of 20 Nm.
6. Push the wiper and connect the plug.
7. Install the rubber ring and tighten the screw.
8. Replace wiper.
9. Push the wiper arm on the drive head, tighten the 6-sided screw and slide the cover.
10. Put the protective grille.
11. Close the hood and check the windshield wiper.
