Dismantling of the drive shaft and the replacement of nomad covers



SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Remove the drive shaft of the rear wheels.

The screw clamps with a screwdriver, unscrew and replace with new ones from the repair kit Dirt cover

2. Remove the clamp Dirt cover with the inner end of the drive shaft (Fig. 6.23).
3. Beat the protective cover from the hinge and remove it. Likewise, remove the cover-dirt cover on the other side of the hinge.
4. Pull the mud cover and remove the grease from the hinge.
5. Remove the snap ring.
6. Hold the drive shaft in a vice and equally striking on the inner ring of the hinge, bring it to the shaft.
7. Now when you need to replace the mud cover and hinge. Repair kits include parts to these new collars, new snap ring and the required number of special lubricant, which during assembly liberally applied to the hinge (100 g per joint).
8. Before installing the clamps on the back of the outer ring of the joint, apply sealant to the term of their inner edges.
