Checking the tightness of a mechanical transmission



SEQUENCE OF WORK
The following places of oil leaks from the mechanical gearbox:
1. Place attachment transmission to the engine.
2. Place the driveshaft attachment to the gearbox.
3. Filler plug.
4. Drain plug.
To detect oil leaks from the mechanical gearbox, do the following:
1. Clean the gearbox housing means for cold cleaning.
2. Places of possible leaks or talcum powder the lime.
3. Take a test drive. To the oil was liquid, it is necessary to drive about 30 km on the highway.
4. Place the vehicle on the stand and use the flashlight inspect possible sites of leakage.
5. In the event of a leak immediately eliminate it.
