Check the date of installation beginning of injection



The moment of the beginning of injection can be tested in several ways, but any of them requires special equipment, so this work is best left to experts SRT.

The first method uses a pump that helps to define the exact moment of the injection pressure. For the second test device is used, which is screwed into the hole of the regulator body, as shown in Fig. 154. With the help of the device with two warning lights at the start of injection is determined by the exact markings on the crankshaft pulley.
On branded SRT Mercedes uses a special tester with a digital sensor.

It should also be noted that setting a start time of fuel injection can be adjusted with the engine running. To do this, the flange pump is equipped with an adjusting screw shown in Fig. 155. When screwing screws set a later point of injection, with loosening - earlier.
