Adjustment of idling

Fine adjustment of the idle speed is carried out using a special instrument and probe pulses Bosch 601 589 21 April 00. The device is connected to the socket on the diagnosis, and pulse sensor takes readings from TDC sensor on the flywheel.
If the device is not, you need a minimum speed sensor, connected according to the instruction manual. Subject to the recommendations of idling adjustment should not cause difficulties. The engine with electronic idling speed control in the operation of adjustment is not necessary. The system is installed on cars with automatic gearbox and air conditioning. Some differences exist between the pneumatic and electronic systems to increase idle speed. When adjusting the idle speed, proceed as follows:
- Ensure free and no jams during traction pedal. The latter is often caused by increased idle speed;
- Start up the engine and bring to operating temperature;
- Check the speed at idle. For engine with pneumatic system to increase revolutions, this figure should be (750 ? 50) min-1, e - (720 ? 10) min-1. Otherwise adjustment is required;
