Removing and installing automatic gearbox




Details of a drive control automatic gearbox

1 - leather selector lever

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put the car on a lift.
  2. Disconnect the battery.
  3. Remove the cylinder head bracket pipe oil level in the automatic gearbox.
  4. Disconnect the traction control pressure.
  5. Drain the automatic gearbox by removing the drain plugs and transformer oil sump.
  6. Remove the access door leading to a bolt mounting flange of the transformer, then unscrew six bolts transformer.
  7. Remove the rear mounting bracket to support automatic gearbox.
  8. Depending on the equipment, disconnect the wire from the oxygen concentration sensor and disconnect the propeller shaft tunnel.
  9. After removing the ladder mounting bracket, disconnect the exhaust front pipe from the gearbox (put labels on the disk) and from the front exhaust pipe.
  10. Remove the flexible coupling flange output shaft of the transmission.
  11. To facilitate the removal of the gearbox, disconnect the rear of the receiver tube and secure it in the down position wire.
  12. Remove the heat shield from the bottom of the intermediate support propeller shaft.
  13. Loosen the lock nut flange driveshaft.
  14. Serve as possible back of the front propeller shaft and secure it as high as possible in the tunnel.
  15. Disconnect the power cable from the solenoid valve pedal incorporating low gear.
  16. Disconnect the flexible shaft drive speedometer on the back cover of the gearbox and pull it out of the bracket, or disconnect the sensor wires from the electronic speedometer.
  17. Acting the part of the passenger compartment, disconnect draft of a choice of transfers.
  18. On vehicles with a catalytic converter, disconnect the connector to increase the speed of gear.
  19. Disconnect the starter lock and the vacuum hose.
  20. Unscrewing the screws of the lower mounting bracket, remove the oil filler tube.
  21. Disconnect hoses from a transmission water-oil heat exchanger and remove their clamps.
  22. Put under the gearbox housing jack.
  23. Remove all bolts the gearbox to the engine block and disconnect the earth wire.
  24. Stop a transformer casing, instead of tightening the drain plug bolt so that he went into a hole ventilation grilles.
  25. Remove the gearbox by submitting it back to disconnect the motor.


Setting

Installation of transmission is not difficult and is carried out in reverse order, with the following:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Tighten the screw connections specified torque.
  2. Adjust the thrust control pressure and traction gear selection.
  3. Fill the gearbox oil to a normal level.
