Transformer torque

Removal and installation of the transformer

For removal and installation of the transformer is necessary to remove the gearbox and drain the oil from it.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put the transmission in a vertical position on the stand and remove the thrust gear selection.
  2. Insert the key into the transformer through the ventilation grille in the transmission housing and remove the plastic locking pin of the transformer by turning it to the left 1/4 turn.
  3. Install the handles 126 589 01 62 00 on the transformer and remove it.


Technical condition

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If the gearbox oil burnt or contains particles cuffs, piping and flush the water-oil transformer radiator and heat exchanger.
  2. Upon detection of metal shavings in the oil sump gearbox replacement of transformers, since washing is not possible to completely eliminate the chips, which can cause output gearbox failure.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease a leading flange.
  2. Carefully insert the transformer into the crankcase, turning it alternately left and right for proper meshing gears.
  3. Remove the handle 126 589 01 62 00.
  4. Put the locking pin of the transformer and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn to lock the transformer.
  5. Installing the transformer then completed and before the installation of the gearbox on the car you want to put it in the correct position.
  6. To do this, turn the transformer so that one of the plates with threaded holes on its mating surface on the bottom.
  7. Grease centering on the cervix and the transducer connection to the gearbox with the engine connect rod gear selection.
