Removal, installation and adjustment of the hood



Details of installation of the hood


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details are shown in hood installation conjugated. illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Open the hood and fix it in an upright position.
  3. Mark the position of the hinges on the hood.
  4. Remove gas-filled stop (2) fixing the hood (see. Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled stop fixing the hood in the open position), - take care of fixing the hood in an upright position (if necessary, use the help of an assistant).
  5. Remove the fastening screws (1) and two people remove the hood.
  6. Installation is performed in reverse order, the fixing screws should be painted after installation. Finally, make adjustment of the hood (see. Below).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Corresponding illustrative material is presented in the figure, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Open the hood (2) and loosen the hinge (3), screws (1).
  3. Line up against the edges of the hood opening the engine compartment and retighten the fixing screws (1).
  4. Disconnect from the bonnet (2) gas-filled emphasis (see. Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled stop fixing the hood in the open position) and place it in the engine compartment.
  5. Remove the air intake cover (see. Section Removing the drive front wipers).
  6. Remove the rubber pads bonnet hinge - plates must be replaced without fail.
  7. Cut the seal around the loop so as to ensure the freedom of travel of the latter, - the seals must be replaced without fail when installing the gasket should be painted.
  8. Release the hinge (3) nuts (8).
  9. Adjust the hood so that it closes flush with the surfaces of the wings - in order to increase the stroke adjustment loosen the upper section of the hood lock (5).
  10. Tighten the nut (8) and connect to the gas-filled hood emphasis (see. Section Removal and installation of a gas-filled stop fixing the hood in the open position).
  11. Loosen the lock nut (7) to adjust the ride height persistent buffers (6) so that the front edge of the bonnet closed, pressing them not protrude above the surface of the wings.
  12. Having achieved the desired result, tighten the lock nut (7).
  13. Loosen the screws (4) securing the top section of the bonnet (5) adjust the gap closing.
  14. Align the top section (5) on the bottom and tighten the mounting screws (4).
  15. Make sure of reliability of fixing the hood in the closed position.
  16. Release the latch and make sure of the reliability of the safety lock hook on the crossbar of the frame.
  17. Close the hood.
