Removing and installing oil pump transfer case



Details of the installation of the oil pump transfer case


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation of the oil pump transfer case shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the bearing assembly (see. Section Removal and installation of assemblage of the bearing assembly of the transfer case).
  3. Remove the thrust washer (1).
  4. Remove the magnet (2).
  5. Remove from landing niche filter (3).
  6. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the pump transfer case assembly (4).
  7. Rinse all components, suede and wipe dry with compressed air.
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - make sure that the protrusion of the carrier plate deployed bolt heads up the pump assembly is aligned with the flattened shaft - if necessary, turn the last few times, - pump assembly should fully take on the drive shaft.
  9. Finally, check the transfer case for signs of leaks.
