Details of installation of transfer case

7 - The vibration damper


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the transfer case shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the engine compartment trim panel.
  3. Remove the exhaust system with the support brackets (9 and 10).
  4. Remove the bolts (14), disconnect from the transfer box and tie to the elements of the frame rear propeller shaft (13), - try not to damage the hinge assembly and the central bearing.
  5. Remove the bolts (12), disconnect from the transfer box and tie to the elements of the frame front propeller shaft (11), - try not to damage the hinge assembly.
  6. Disconnect the wiring (3) of the servomotor.
  7. Prop up with gear assembly (1) and remove the crossmember with the rear suspension support of the power unit (5).
  8. Support the transfer case (2) jack.
  9. Remove the bolts (4), separate from the transmission transfer box and remove it by submitting the jack back.
  10. Installation is in the reverse order.
  11. Finally, make sure that the level of oil poured into the box reaches the lower edge of the fill / check hole.
