Clutch

Flywheel, basket and clutch disc

1 - Flywheel. The surface adjacent to the friction linings must be free of oil and grease, and have no burrs. Watch for reliable fastening dowel pins
2 - clutch plate. The mounting position should not be changed.

Clean teeth spline input shaft gearbox and wheel hub, remove the rust

3 - Pressure Plate
4 - Allen screw 25 Nm. Turns and tightened in several stages crosswise

On these models set single-plate dry clutch with diaphragm spring.

Clutch consists of a basket of the pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing and hydraulic drive.

The clutch is bolted to the flywheel, which in turn is fixed to the crankshaft of the engine. Between the pressure plate and the flywheel is the clutch disc which is pressed against the pressure plate to the flywheel. Clutch plate to center through the splined shaft of the primary transmission.

When you press the clutch pedal via hydraulic drive clutch spring presses the pressure plate. At the same time relieved the pressure plate and clutch disc is no longer pressed against the flywheel. Power connection between the engine and transmission is interrupted.

Clutch All models have a hydraulic clutch. Working liquid on models with Manual transmission is a brake fluid, which comes from a common reservoir of brake fluid. On models with automatic gearshift the clutch hydraulic circuit is part of a hydraulic drive transmission control.

Each time you turn on and off the clutch wear occurs due to friction of the friction linings slave drive. The slave drive is to wear out the clutch element. Its average lifespan is over 100 000 km. The rate of deterioration depends on the load (movement with the trailer) and style of driving. Clutch does not require maintenance, t. To. It is self-adjusting.

Engines equipped with dual-mass flywheel. This flywheel has a spring-damper system, allowing to extinguish the torsional vibrations arising during operation of the engine. Additionally, thereby reducing the noise level at low speeds. Clutch Disc with this flywheel consists of a hub of the slave boards and friction linings. The damping springs are installed.
