The angles of the wheels of the car

The angles of the wheels greatly affect the stability of the car, tire wear and fuel consumption. The angles shown in the specification.
Camber - an inclination of the wheel in a vertical plane about the center line of the vehicle. It can be positive if the wheels are inclined outwardly or negative if the wheels are inclined inwardly. Camber substantially affect the uniformity of the front wheel tire wear. If one wheel camber is positive and the other negative, then the car will withdraw aside at movement in a straight line.

Convergence - lateral distance between the wheels. Positive convergence means that the front wheels are located closer together than the rear adjustment when measured at the middle point of the wheel. A negative convergence means that the front wheels are at a greater distance from each other than behind.
Cross caster wheel - is the angle between the axis tilt steering knuckle and the vertical passing through the point of fastening of a wheel, looking in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

Due to the angles of camber and caster cross point of contact with the road wheels are located closer to the axis of the steering knuckle. This is supported by the so-called "shoulder running", the easier driving. Also blows from roughness of the coating is less transmitted to the steering.

The longitudinal inclination of the axis of rotation of the wheel. The axis about which the wheel rotates, is located in the space so that its lower part is directed forward. Such corner of a longitudinal inclination is called positive. When positive self-resetting wheel angle to the center position after turning improves.
