Removal and installation of the sensors



Sensors Parktronic System

Fixing the sensor (A43) in the bracket is carried out by locking ring (arrow)


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the lantern light plate.
  2. Release the lock ring on the holder (2) and release the sensor from the bracket (4).
  3. Remove the retaining ring (arrow).
  4. Carefully separate the wiring.
  5. Installation is performed in reverse order, if necessary, paint the sensors in the body color.

Sensors with a scratch the outer surface must be replaced.

Protection sensor towing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
    8 - terminal positive wire module
    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery

  1. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  2. Remove the AT control module (TCM / ETC) (see chap. Automatic transmission).
  3. On models 463.246 / 249, remove the control module of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Removal and installation of the control modules).
  4. Remove the support bracket Control Module.
  5. Disconnect the wiring from the sensor responds to the slope protection towing (B33).
  6. Remove from the housing and remove the sensor (B33).
  7. Installation is the reverse order models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and perform basic programming.

Daylight sensor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the salon mirror (see chap. Body).
  2. Remove the cover (1).
  3. Disconnect the connector (2) release the retaining clips and remove the gauge daylight (B32 / 1), - the lens sensor affixed to the windshield, and can not be replaced.
  4. Installation is in the reverse order.

Rain sensor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the salon mirror (see chap. Body).
  2. Remove the cover (1).
  3. Release the clips (2) left and right, and remove the rain sensor (B38) - lens sensor affixed to the windshield, and can not be replaced.
  4. Disconnect the wiring connector of the sensor.
  5. Installation is in the reverse order.
