Removal and installation of an air pump



Petrol models

Details of the installation of the air pump on petrol models

5 - Bolt
5/1 - Air hose

M33 - Electric Air Pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the trim cylinder head cover / air cleaner (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
  2. On models 463.246 (G55 AMG) remove the liquid heat exchanger oil pipes of the oil filter.
  3. Remove the retaining bolt (5), remove the air hose (5/1) and wiring (arrow).
  4. Remove the air pump assembly (M33).
  5. Installation is in the reverse order.
