Removing and installing the EGR valve

Petrol models

Installation Details of the EGR valve on petrol models

19 - the Inlet pipeline
89 - EGR valve
89/1 - EGR pipe
89/2 - Vacuum control unit
89/3 - Flare Nut

and - The vacuum from the intake pipe
b - Vacuum controlled depth from the transducer to the recirculation EGR valve
Y31 / 1 - EGR vacuum transducer

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cover of the power unit / air cleaner (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
  2. Remove the air intake duct assembly from the sensor MAF (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
  3. Give choke nut (89/3) at the valve EGR (89).
  4. Disconnect the EGR (89/1) from the inlet pipe (19) and the cylinder head.
  5. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the transducer EGR (Y31 / 1).
  6. Remove the valve EGR (89).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - in order to avoid jamming of the throttle lever, track correctness pads vacuum tube running from the transducer EGR (Y31 / 1).
