PERFORMANCE ORDER

Empty the fuel tank and relieve pressure in the supply system (see. Section Dropping the pressure in the supply). Open the fuel filler. Remove the rear seat (see. Chapter Body) and the service port cap. Disconnect the fuel supply from the sensor wiring and the fuel supply hose. Put the open end of the fuel lines plastic bags. Using special tool, remove the retaining ring while pressing the pump assembly. Remove the pump assembly from the fuel tank. Do not bend the float arm. Temporarily install the retaining ring, tighten it by hand so that it applied to the label in the form of an arrow pointing in the direction of the rear end of the car. Do not remove the retaining ring until the assembly of the pump will be installed with the filter and the sensor. If necessary, remove the fuel reserve sensor disconnect the brown connector wiring, insert a screwdriver into the gap between the left side of the sensor and the mounting piece and gently press the sensor. Once he gets out of the lock, remove the gauge. Reinstalling removed sensor is not allowed. Disassembly of the fuel pump and the filter is not allowed. Installation is in the reverse order. Use a new O-ring. Speaking at the fuel pump assembly must be in the corresponding slot in its mounting hole. After installation, check the power supply system for leaks (see. Chapter Settings and maintenance of the car).
