Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path

Withdrawal

Description removal and installation of the air cleaner housing and the replacement of the filter element is given in Section Replacement of a filtering element of an air; description of the removal and installation of the inlet pipeline resulted in Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline.

The components of an inlet air path

1 - e / m control valve Canister EVAP
2,3,6 - Vacuum hose
4 - MAP sensor
5 - Seal
7/9 - The top / bottom cover of the air cleaner
8,10,13,14,18 - Laying

11 - Lock
12 - air intake hose
15 - Activator throttle
16 - The case of an air cleaner
17 - The filter element of an air cleaner

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the MAP sensor wiring and remove the gauge.
  2. Disconnect the wiring and vacuum hose, and then - e / m control valve Canister EVAP.
  3. Remove the air intake hose. To do this, remove the fasteners in the front part, rotate it by an angle of about 90 degrees. and pull out the air cleaner housing.
  4. Remove the air cleaner housing with the filter element (see. Section Replacement of a filtering element of the air) and the breather hose of the transmission.
  1. Remove the air cleaner cover assembly with the intake pipe, pulling them up evenly with the effort. To this end, separate pre-wiring connector from the activator throttle, separate the brake booster vacuum hose and remove the screws in the reverse order specified in the illustration.

After removing the plug the openings in the intake manifold, so that they do not hit the dirt.

  1. Remove the locking bolts of covers of the air cleaner in the reverse order specified in the illustration. Separate the cover from each other.
  1. Remove the top cover of the air activator throttle. Do not disassemble the actuator or subject it to force action.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Set the activator (1) the throttle valve to the upper cover (2) of the air cleaner. For this purpose the gasket (3) on the flange, and then the gasket (4) on the outer groove of the channel in the throttle valve with the top cover of the air cleaner, and finally tighten the screws activator. After disconnecting the electrical activator must be programmed closed throttle position and the idle position (see. Section Programming reference values for engine control).
  1. Tighten the clamp bolts of covers of the air in the sequence shown in the illustration, first with a force 1.9 ÷ 2.2 N ??? m, and then with a force 3.8 ÷ 4.4 N ??? m.
  1. Install the air cleaner assembly of covers on the intake manifold, as described below in paragraphs 4-6.
  1. Install the gasket (1) on the intake manifold and gasket (2) to channel PCV. The projection (4) on the body should enter the groove (3) on the gasket.
  1. Move the assembly covers the air cleaner to the intake conduit, while inserting the tabs at the back of the holes in the channel PCV the cylinder head cover.
  1. Tighten the air cleaner cover bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration.
  1. Install the air cleaner housing with a filter element (see. Section Replacement of a filtering element of an air cleaner) and connect it to the air intake hose.
  2. Install e / m control valve Canister EVAP sensor and MAP. Make sure that the O-ring MAP sensor and mating surfaces are clean.
